Sideview Mirror is Never Enough

I dropped off my grandson, a preschooler at school last week. The rules in place, which I never read, but understood from what his parents told me, state we can just pull up with our cars and someone will come up to the door to get the child.

Being such a gorgeous day in Minnesota that morning, and the fact that we had already waited five minutes longer than usual, I wanted to step outside. I suggested we just wait next to the car, but outside. So, without giving it further consideration, I did.

We still stayed in front of the car and I was sure to put on my mask for fear of wrath. I was already testing the limits set in place. I can be such a radical! I knew I might have consequences but enjoyed the warmth of the sun on my face anyway.

Shortly, the woman came up to get my grandson, but not forgetting to scold me, afterall it was her duty to enforce the rules of the institution…the school.

“Next time we ask you stay in the vehicle.”
I retorted, “That is why I have my mask on, and it is such a beautiful day!”
I would have loved to get into a discussion with her, but she was too irritated I suppose and was walking away. Does anyone talk to each other anymore?

Does any of these restrictions bother anyone else? I feel we are living in a communist society at times? Bit by bit the government is getting into our lives to change things they have no business changing. They are nibbling away at those things we have taken for granted.

We have no church to worship at, no singing allowed, mask wearing (outdoors too for some states), yet chaos in our streets are allowed. Our police are stripped from their authority or means to offer protection when it is needed. We dishonor them. They are humiliated.

The left has gone insane. Their thinking is godless and they contradict their own statements.

We now, are like sheep. The media is complicit and part and parcel to the democratic party. This is what you get when you vote for democrats. They hate our nation, they want chaos and confusion, they embolden criminals, keep the poor and those abused forever left to their victim-hood. They are against freedom. They only want power and use people, ideology, intimidation and empty promises to get your vote.

We have been fooled. It is as if we are being led to eat our dinner, but can’t use utensils or napkins when we eat. Government rules and regulations are strangling society, humiliating and degrading the masses. Shame and abuse are becoming the norm and causing greater harm….depression, suicide, drug abuse…more death.

We have a Constitution that protects our freedoms. It is a document too many of us do not know or study. Some have never read it. Our founders set it up for such a time as these.

We all must study it so when we see it is being trampled on, we can counter the attack. I felt intimidated for no reason. I hated the weakness I felt within me when I had to submit to unjust authority. It is silly, when you think of how we bring our children to school, forced to wait in lines, when children are not at risk to Covid. Stupid! Information is power.

Just as we must study or at least read our Constitution, we must study and read our Bibles. More than ever in these times, we need a revival. We need people to memorize scripture and not worry about what we will say when encountered with the enemy. God’s Holy Spirit will give us the words at the time we need them. God tell us this in his Word.

I will give you a mouth and wisdom.” (Luke 21:15)

We must fill our minds with God’s word to counter the lies of the enemy and to stand up for Jesus Christ in this world. USA has the Constitution which has kept our nation alive but it is faltering. It is being attacked from within. Our spirit and soul can only stand with God Himself as controller, liberator and redeemer of our lives.

We are struggling with our government in the USA but there is more at stake for friends and family and those that do not know our Savior, Jesus Christ. In this world we will someday loose our lives by some unknown reason. But, there is a second death that we don’t want to have come to our souls. Eternally dead is a life apart from God….living….but dead.

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,” (1 Peter 3:15)
