You Can….Because You Say So….Determined

You can. There is a definition for the word “can”. It may be the “can” you have been kicking down the road, but it is real. Or….it can be an action word but it is not a word that is unmovable. It is positively “motivational.”

Can is always moving forward into the direction you want it to go. Can…helps you get there. You can sleep the day away. You can get up. Both are true. What words follow “can” makes all the difference.

You cant. Show me the definition for the word “cant”. You won’t find one.
There is no such thing as a “cant”.

I believe, if you want something bad enough, you will be able to find the
resources, ask the right questions, build up the courage, learn from others who
have achieved great things….and become the person you need to be to get there.

What thoughts you put inside your head will attract the same to you.

If you have ever been a pregnant mother, you will know what I mean. Your dominant thoughts are about the growing child within you. It is why you notice more pregnant women, when you yourself are pregnant.

Be careful little eyes what you see…ears what you hear….tongue what you say…hands what you do….feet where you go…as the child’s song goes, warns us of God who is looking from above. Does it matter to you, what God thinks of the choices you are making?

Are you determined to change things in your life for the sake of your children and grandchildren. Do you only think in the moment, for the day, for what you can get out of it for you? Do you think of how, your choices, are affecting others?

Are things great for you or do you settle for “good enough”? Do you like being taken care of? Do you want to be the one in charge of your life? Would you like change to happen but not sure how to achieve that? Are you really sure you are determined to know the truth, once and for all…..the answer you seek?

Be diligent.

Do these words describe you? These are words that have the same meaning as diligent:

Or do you find that you have more of these characteristics:? These words describe the opposite meaning of diligent:

If you could work on one thing today, it may sound impossible. It is too big a mountain to climb, you are thinking. You tell yourself, with God all things are possible. But, do you have a relationship with the one person that can help you, Jesus Christ? Start there. Jesus is just a prayer away.

Do you want your life to be different?
Do you want to be happy?
Do you want to be respected?
Do you want to be more successful…more prosperous?
Would you like to have better health?
Would you like to be more patient, have more ambition?

Start doing things differently and you will get different results than you have had in the past. Change your future by taking charge of your future instead of others dictating to you what you should do and how you should think.

You get to determine your own destiny. You are only a victim if you want to be. Think like a soaring eagle, not the prey that it feeds on. Is your life and how you are living and the choices you are making, supplying prey for others who you see as your superiors?

We are all equal in God’s sight but others do have some authority over us which is natural and how our system is set up. We still have those who make the rules and those who enforce the rules. We have the judges and the jailers, the store owners and the buyers, the politicians and the voters. Each one needs the other. Why? What is their motivation?

Don’t be prey to anyone. If it makes you better, than they are trustworthy. If they keep you down, keep you stagnant, make promises but never keep them, they are not worth your trust. I don’t buy manufactured goods cheaply made. I don’t buy rotten fruit from the store owner.

Are you still eating rotten fruit from those who have given you empty promises?

Your future starts today with one small step, one commitment, one promise…to move your life in another direction. Who are you listening to? What are you reading? Who do you admire? Then ask yourself, why?

Will you be independent in your thinking or just a follower of the masses in your group, your party, your church, your peers? Do you want to be like them or be ruled by them?

Break from the bondage and become a free thinker. You have a lot to give. You have a gift and the world is waiting for you to share it. Try something different and your life will see different results. You can because you say so, not because someone dictated something to you and expect you to be or act a certain way….be determined…be diligent!

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
